Anne Celeste Heche, born on May 25, 1969, in New York City, passed away on August 11, 2022 in the city of Los Angeles is an American actress. She played the daughter of Joan Crawford on The Sixth Sense, a show on television in 1972. Joan was the last actress to appear in the series. It is believed that Anne refused to play Laurie Strode, the character in the horror film of John Carpenter's film, Halloween. The part was played by Jaime Lee Curtis. The actor. Carpenter says that he would like her to play the role but that she turned it down. Anne can't recall John Carpenter having contacted her and offering the position. Her agent may have declined the offer on her behalf and not even known. Glen Larson chose her initially and gave her a preliminary written script. The role she would take was on the show Battlestar Galactica, which aired in 1978. She originally rejected the position because she felt her character was weak. Then Glen wrote a new part specifically for her, with a much stronger character named Sheba. After having read the first 25 pages of story The Living Legend she accepted immediately. The film ran for one season. She also starred with Desi Arnaz Jr. Melanie Griffith Robert Carradine, Desi Arnaz (son Desi Arnaz & Lucille ball) in Joyride in 1977. In addition, she co-starred alongside Michael Moriarty as The Dark Tower in 1987.
