The artist was born on November 26, 1986 at Santa Monica California in the United States of America. She is the daughter of father Vincenzo Barba and mother Valerie Barba. When she was six, her family relocated into Point Pleasant New Jersey. Her high school education throughout New Jersey at Red Bank Catholic High School. After graduating at Catholic University with a Bachelor's in Architecture studying, she continued her education at the college. Her first violin lessons began when she was four years old, and became known as the Violin Girl. Based on her performances, she was called by her name. She also taught the violin to local children.
